Phat Phonts is Australia's newest digital type foundry. We sell only original fonts, and do custom type and lettering for the creative industries. We can also track down and sell you fonts which you don't see on our site.
We are not an ultra-modern collective of über-cool creative types who write uppity articles about the importance of design. You know the ones: "I don't have an office. That's the old way of thinking. Our meetings happen in Second Life, where I channel creative pulses from around the world into my work..."
Nor are we some dot.com upstart trading in binary digits and operating from a bedroom.
We are just type designers with a sense of humour. Just a bunch of fun guys, who lichen ourselves to a fine truffle.
OK, so it's a crap sense of humour. But we love fonts and try to design them well. So that you can use them, and hopefully give your work a point of difference.
Oh, you want some actual information? Well... OK. We've been building fonts since 2001 but only recently launched our own website. We've worked on custom type commissions, alterations and our own de– ... hello? Are you still there?
