The New York Type Director‘s Club type design contest TDC 08 has announced the 2008 winners:
With a more international flavour to reflect burgeoning worldwide attention on non-Latin type, several of the winners are in langauges such as Hindi, Arabic and Ethiopic. But there are also beautiful sans-serif families such as National and Presidencia, and a great selection of display types from script to modernised blackletter.
